The Badass Process

At CESSON, we did not wait for the pandemic to strike to trust our people to work from home. In 2011, Philippe decided to empower CESSONers to work from home, and we have been refining that process ever since. This is what it looks like today.

Every morning the Badasses at CESSON, start the day with 30 minutes of visualization and preparation where we construct a solid plan for the workday ahead, familiarize ourselves with the tasks to be accomplished, delineate our time versus work schedule and prepare clarity discussions for our morning meeting with team members.

Badass One

  • Twenty-five minutes of free-flowing exchange of client news, ideas, processes to streamline to optimize the work for our clients.
  • Attendance is mandatory and sets us straight for the day.
  • We take time to discuss upcoming meetings with clients, discuss ongoing projects and deadlines, receive clarity amongst the team and learn how we can support each other during the day.
  • Badass One lasts for twenty minutes, exactly the amount of time to stay engaged and analyze our day.

Badass Two

  • A-Z review of every single client’s projects and to do’s
  • Once a week, we conduct an hour-long video meeting designed specifically to deep dive into ongoing tasks and client projects, allowing us all to stay updated and never let anything fall in between the cracks.

Continuing Education

  • We follow the 80/20 rule - 80% of our focus is on clients and 20% is spent learning about new trends and tools in the industry so we are always providing relevant, compelling content that generates leads.

Blackout Thursday

  • A dedicated morning every week to uninterrupted work.
  • No meetings or calls are scheduled during this time to allow our team to invest fully in their current tasks and focus without any interference.

Powerfully Quiet

  • We understand productivity at work begins with little background noise. Powerfully quiet is two hours of uninterrupted work time designed for getting tasks done every Monday and Friday. This time is important for concentration, production, and providing clients with results.

Powwow

  • Fourteen minutes is the optimum meeting time for engagement amongst team members.
  • Every day we have a short meeting where members of our team meet daily about ongoing tasks and are able to discuss current projects and provide updates internally for optimum efficiency.

The Badass Support Center (BSC)

  • The Badass Support Center experts are our resource center for all ongoing tasks.
  • The BSC helps form a plan to allocate, manage, and forecast what our people are working on, ensuring we have enough people for every project in our pipeline while organizing our tasks accordingly so those that are working won’t get burned out.
  • The BSC handles all repetitive, time-consuming, and entry-level tasks.

Monthly Badass Call Every month, each client joins us for a monthly meeting where we...

  • Provide detailed analytical reports and insights to the client
  • Discuss ongoing campaigns and strategies
